Terry J. Boyd
1943-2026
Terry J. Boyd, 82, passed away peacefully at the Fundy Royal Manor in Hillsborough on May 26,2026 with his daughter by his side. He was born in Saint John on August 24th, 1943 the son of the late James and Reta (Baisley) Boyd.
Nothing meant more to Terry than being there for his daughter and grandchildren. He took great pride in his family and was always happiest when surrounded by those he loved most.
Terry was the kind of man who was always willing to lend a hand wherever he could. As a dedicated member of the Hillsborough Volunteer Ambulance, he found great satisfaction in serving his community and helping others in their time of need. In later years, he worked at the Hopewell Rocks, a place he thoroughly enjoyed, especially the opportunity to chat with visitors, share a laugh, and joke around with his many friends and coworkers.
Terry was also a very talented and artistic man who found peace and enjoyment in drawing and woodworking. Over the years, he created many beautiful crafts by hand, each one reflecting his creativity, patience, and attention to detail.
As Terry’s health declined, he made his home at Fundy Royal Manor, where he formed many meaningful friendships and found comfort, companionship, and a true sense of home. His family took great comfort in knowing he was treated with such kindness, dignity, and compassion during his final months. The care and support shown to Terry meant so much to them, and the warmth and dedication of the staff will never be forgotten.
He will be deeply missed by his treasured daughter, Cinnamon Smith (Roger) of Weldon and her girls, Kirsten (Curtis) and Kaileigh (Jaime); son, Dan Wilson (Brenda) of BC, his children, Dusty (Jessica) and Dylan; and son, Doug Wilson (Lori) of BC and his children, Trevor (Amellia) and Dailyne (Dan). He will also be missed by all his great-grandchildren, all his extended family and friends.
Honouring Terry's own wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private Graveside Service will be held in the Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, NB where he will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife.
