Gregory A. Bogle

1950-2025

Gregory A. Bogle

Gregory A. Bogle, 75, of Forest Dale Home passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 27th, 2025.  He was born in Riverside on January 17th, 1950 the son of the late Roderick C. Bogle and Ferne (Elderkin) Bogle-LeBlanc.

Greg grew up in Albert County and attended the Riverside Consolidated School in his younger days.  He made many lifelong friendships.  As he got older he moved to Oshawa, ON and worked as a Transport Driver.  He made his new life in Ontario but always kept ties to his hometown and when he came home for trips to visit family and friends there was always a time to be had and everyone waited with anticipation of his return.  He would arrive and as soon as his cowboy boots came through the door, the fun began.  He loved his boots and very was rarely seen without wearing them. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports.  He lived his life to the fullest and oh the stories he could tell.  He and his brother, Robert and all his buddies were always up to something, the shenanigans were always harmless and done in good fun.  When his brother was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident, Greg decided to move back home to be close to his family and friends as he retired.  He made his home in Waterside before he went to Forest Dale Home.   He loved animals, especially his dogs, they were his kids.  His last little dog, Morgan, was his constant companion.  He has left many stories to remember and have a laugh as we reminisce.  He is now reunited with his parents and his younger brother, Robert and we are sure they are catching up on all the news. "Goodbyes are not forever.  Goodbyes are not the end.   They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again."

He was appreciative to his cousin Wyman and his wife Loretta for all the care and support they gave to him during the past few years as he struggled with health issues.  They were always just a call away.

He will be missed by his half-sister, Margaret Hicks of Riverside-Albert; Step-sister, Diane Mortimer (David) of Moncton and many cousins and all his extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Roderick C. Bogle (Diana); Mother, Ferne (Elderkin) Bogle- LeBlanc (Eric); brother Robert Bogle and by several aunts and uncles.

Honouring Greg's own wishes there will be no visitation.  A Graveside Service will be held at the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB on June 17th, 2026 at 4:00pm.

For those who wish donations to the Hopewell Cemetery or PAWS in Greg's memory would be greatly appreciated.
