Graham Matthew Hutchinson

1977-2025

Graham Matthew Hutchinson Graham Matthew Hutchinson

Graham Matthew Hutchinson, 48, passed away at his home in Moncton following a lengthy illness, on April 17th, 2025. Born in Minto, NB on February 21st, 1977, he was the beloved son of Roland and Anna (Colpitts) Hutchinson of Hillsborough NB.

Graham spent his early years in Minto, NB, Wallace, NS and Alberton PEI. Along with his family, Graham has lived in Dalhousie, Hillsborough, Riverview and Moncton NB.
In his youth he enjoyed playing minor hockey and curling. As a young man, he was an avid model enthusiast and a budding magician.

Graham was a jack of all trades. He worked with his cousin Michael at Auto Appearance Center detailing cars for a time, for a furniture manufacturing company, with Subway as well as with other local businesses and private ventures.

Graham had a love of nature, spending time in the summers picking goose tongue greens and selling them by the roadside. He was happiest when on his motorcycle, enjoying a drive in the country. Graham loved music, even playing drums and guitar in a band for a while. He had a special place in his heart for animals and lately had a good appreciation for cats while living with his cousin and his many feline friends. Graham was also captivated by family history, enjoyed researching and listening to stories about his grandparents, especially the details of his grandfather's military careers. The other main fascination of his life was with UFOs. Graham was a deep thinker who was known for his authenticity and tolerance. He accepted people for who they were and did not pass judgement.

Over the past year, while struggling with his health issues, Graham has been living with his cousin Christopher. Graham was especially appreciative of how Christopher has looked out for and cared for him during this time. He has also expressed his gratitude to his brother Greg, for being there for him through his illness and his deep sadness with Greg's recent passing. Graham would be so thankful to all his parent's friends who have been very supportive to them during the loss of both of their sons and would wish for them to continue to hold them in their thoughts. He would also want everyone to bear in mind that he is now at peace and no longer in pain. Remember and hold dear the good times shared. "Gone from our sights but never from our hearts."

Graham leaves his loving parents, Roland and Anna; sister-in-law Neila; his adored nieces Emily (James), Hannah and Robin (Kenny) Dickinson. He will be remembered with affection by his aunts Betty, Marilyn, Margaret, Carolyn, Flo, Nancy (Butch) and Shirley. He will also be missed by several cherished cousins, including Christopher, and his good friends Noah and David.

Predeceased by his dear brother, Gregory Dickinson, who he always looked up to with admiration; his treasured uncles, Bill Colpitts, Richard Colpitts, Larry Hutchinson and Ernie Wade.
