Ronald Terry Tower
1947-2024
Ronald Terry Tower, 77, of Albert Mines passed away
peacefully at his home on December 29th, 2024 with his family by his
side.
Ronny was born in Hillsborough on December 23rd, 1947 the
son of the late William and Laura (Wilson)
Tower.
He worked as a labourer for Atlantic Wholesalers until his
retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being
outdoors in nature. He was a member of the Hillsborough Baptist
Church. He was a huge Toronto Maple leafs fan and cheered them on
wholeheartedly, whether they won or lost. Over the past few
years he has struggled with health issues but felt blessed to have the
Extramural Nurses, his wife, son and niece, Kim Turner to look after
him and make sure he was well cared for. The past couple
years has been trying but his family has stepped up and made his wish
of being home fulfilled. He loved his family and they were
his pride and joy. He enjoyed all the visits and calls from
his sisters as they checked in often. He had a great sense
of humour and this helped him deal with life in a positive
way. He would not want everyone sad but remember all the fun
times shared and how much he loved you
all.
" Death takes the body, God takes the soul, Our mind
holds the memories, Our heart keeps the love, Our faith lets us know
we'll meet again."
He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Sharon Tower;
son, Troy Tower of Albert Mines; his sisters, Thelma Steeves of
Moncton, Doreen Steeves (Conrad) of Edgett's Landing, Nancy Steeves
(Dwight) of Albert Mines. He will also be missed by several
nieces, nephews and by all his extended family and in-laws,
the Cooper family.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Paulette
Tower, Mildred Jones (Willard), Linda Bannister (Charles) and Judy
Gallagher; brother, Gerald Tower (Faye); brother-in-law, Ronald
Steeves.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service
