Sheila Elaine Claridge
Sheila Elaine Claridge, 74, of Edgett's Landing passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2021 at the Dr. Georges. L-Dumont Hospital with her family by her side.
Sheila was born in Moncton on May 16, 1947 the daughter of the late Thomas and Katie (Tucker) Davis.
She worked in her earlier years as a waitress and cook at T.Eaton Company and Woolworth's. She met and married her beloved husband, Albert, and started her family. Her family was the most important thing to her and she took pride in raising her children. She made a home and enjoyed baking, quilting, doing crafts, and knitting. She loved to travel and has travelled all across Canada going on many adventures with Albert. They also spent time camping, where a lot of special family memories were made around the campfire. She also had a love of bingo and went as often as she could. When you visited with Sheila you never left hungry as she always had a plentiful supply of sweets. You never had to ask how she felt about something because she would definitely let you know her ideas and thoughts on things. She had her tough exterior but everyone knew she had a big heart and was always there for them when needed. She loved to tease and carry on and banter in a way, but never took it too seriously, she also loved to laugh. When her grandchildren came along they were her pride and joy and she supported them in everything they did. "When a loved one becomes a memory. A memory becomes a treasure. Treasure the memories."
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 54 years, Albert; her daughters, Krista Claridge of Riverview, Karla Claridge (Leslie Milton) of Albert Mines; son, Kendall Claridge (Janice) of Moncton; her precious grandchildren, Madison, Bethany, Michelle and Robert; sisters, Brenda Lyman (Leland) of West River, Linda Upham (Fraser) of Hopewell Hill, Judy Best (Charles) of Weldon; brothers, Ernest Davis (Gloria) of Pine Glen, Dean Davis of Ontario and Paul Davis of Shepody; sister-in-law, Connie Davis of Nova Scotia. She will also be missed by her close cousin, Velma Davis of Saint John and lifelong friend, Ruth McDermott of Riverside-Albert; several nieces, nephews, cousins and by all the Claridge family, extended family and close friends.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Edna Mae Davis, Carol Steeves (Mike), Phyllis DeWolfe (Meldon); brother, Thomas Davis Jr. "Junior" and by special cousin Bill Davis.
