Timothy Andrew Rossiter

1973-2021

Timothy Andrew Rossiter

Timothy Andrew Rossiter, 48, of Midway passed away suddenly on July 19th, 2021 after a lengthy but courageous battle with lung disease.

Tim was born in Moncton the son of Arnold and Linda (Akerley) Rossiter.

He did mechanic work and enjoyed working in the garage.  He worked for Nelson's Waste Management.  He could fix anything, and was really a jack of all trades.  He enjoyed keeping busy.  He spent time tending his garden and always had lots of vegetables to share with his family and friends, especially his potatoes.  He enjoyed golfing in his younger years when his health was better. His main passion was being on the water, he worked on the local fishing boats in Alma for most of his life and achieved his dream and lifetime goal when he became the captain of his own boat "The Fundy Ghost".   Tim will be remembered for his determination and he was never ready to give up.  He was planning on doing one more season on his boat, heading out in August but God had other plans and called him home.

"I've finished life's chores assigned to me, So put me on a boat headed out to sea. Where everyday is a day to fish, to fill your heart with every wish. Don't worry, or feel sad for me, I'm fishin' with the Master of the sea."

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Arnold and Linda Rossiter of Waterside; brother, Randy Rossiter of Hopewell Hill; girlfriend, Stacie Stannard of Midway; his treasured step-children, David, Destiny and Summer, who he loved very much and by his niece, Rebecca Rossiter.  He will also be missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and by all his extended family and friends.

Honouring Tim's own wishes there will be no visitation.  A Private Memorial Service and Celebration of his life (Invitation Only)  will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home with Rev. James Hammond officiating.  The service will be available to view on the Albert County Funeral Home facebook page and youtube channel at a later date.
Interment will be in the Waterside Cemetery, Waterside, NB.

For those who wish donations to the NB Lung Association or the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.

To Aaron Nelson for the wonderful eulogy, you really touched on Tim's life and what he was all about.  To our family,  especially Maxine, Sharon, Mary, Darlene and Bev and Stacie's mom, Tammy who helped in so many ways and were there for us when we needed them.  To Tim's crew on the Fundy Ghost for helping out and being there for Tim and his family.   Also to the Albert County Funeral Home, Lisa & Casey, we are so blessed to have you in our community and are so thankful for you both.   Once again words cannot express our gratitude to our family, neighbours and friends for all the support and kindness shown, it will never be forgotten.
