Donald Earl Brantnall
Donald Earl Brantnall, 78, of Edgett's Landing passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 28, 2021.
Donnie was born in Point Wolfe on July 14th, 1942 the son of the late Newman and Leona (McKinley) Brantnall.
Donnie worked for Alden Steeves & Son as a drywaller. He enjoyed carpentry and loved building things for his home and always had projects on the go. He was a true Albert County boy who loved being outdoors. He was an avid hunter, who was known for his moose calling ability. He had a favorite fishing hole, enjoyed times at the camp, gardening and driving his four wheeler. He had a special place in his heart for animals, especially for horses. In his later years as he couldn't get out as much he spent a lot of time on Youtube. He was a great story teller and would often exaggerate details just to enhance the excitement. He also loved to tease and had a great sense of humour. Let the good memories last forever.
He will be deeply missed by his special friend, Anne Steeves of Edgett's Landing; his children, Darrell Brantnall (Deanna) of Riverview, Marie Russell (Percy) of Lower Coverdale and Tammy Brantnall (Tad) of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Brittany, Morgan, Kelsey, Katie and Tyler; great grandson, Hayden; sisters, Helen Dobson (Elroy) of Moncton, Rhoda Pye (Earl) of Beaverbank, NS and Mary Woodworth (Arden) of Hopewell Hill, NB; brothers, Gary Brantnall (Diane) of Hillsborough and Cerdic Brantnall (Alma) of Cardiff, ON. He will also be missed by the mother of his children, Marilyn Steeves and by all his extended family and friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister in-laws, Elizabeth Brantnall and Sharon Brantnall; brother in-in-law, Russell Dobson.
Honouring Donnie's own wishes there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service. Interment will be in the Alma United Cemetery, Alma, NB.
