      1950-2021

Kathy Quinn of Weldon passed away peacefully on February 20th, 2021, on her 71st birthday, with her loving family by her side.

Kathy was born in Edmundston, NB on February 20th, 1950 the daughter of the late Stephen and Kathryn (O'Leary) Quinn.

Kathy had many jobs over the years, she worked as a bartender, a hair stylist and last worked with Youth Impact.  Her main priority in life was being a wonderful mother and grandmother.  Kathy loved her family very much and was so proud of her children.  When her grandchildren came along they were the light of her life, and then her little great grandson who was the apple of her eye.  She enjoyed watching all sports and took up curling when she was younger,  she also enjoyed doing needlepoint.  Kathy loved being with her family and if there was a social gathering she was there.  She had a wicked sense of humour and told many jokes (not always clean)  and loved to have a good time.  Kathy held on to her humour and to her spunk right up until the end.  She did things her way.  She will be sadly missed in our lives, but will live on forever in our hearts.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Kathryn Mann (Jeremy) of Weldon and John Sauve (Lisa) of Greenwood, NS; her treasured grandchildren, Colin,Isiah, Alexia, Jax, Charlotte and Kasey; precious great grandson, Ryder; sisters, Lourdes McGinn (Kenny) of Sheffield and Paula MacDonald (Vince) of New Maryland; brother, Stephen Quinn (Barbara) of Dieppe; sister-in-law, Sylvia Quinn- Murphy of Miramichi.  She will also be missed by the father of her children Jacques Sauve; several nieces, nephews and by many good friends.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Larry and David.

Honouring Kathy's own wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when we can all get together in true "Kathy" Style and have a great time remembering her.

Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, 4130 Route 114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H-3K2 734-2780
