Ellen Fay Beal

1955-2021

Ellen Fay Beal
Ellen Fay Beal, 65, of Shenstone, NB peacefully departed after a courageous battle with cancer on January 26th, 2021, with her loving family by her side.

Ellen was born on September 10th, 1955, the daughter of the late Austin Douthwright and Joan (Steeves) Douthwright of Albert Mines.

Ellen was strong, independent, and courageous. After the loss of her 1st husband, Scott, she persevered and made a great life for her 3 children. She was blessed to have found another love, Craig, whom she worked alongside as an administrator for his company, Number One Machining Ltd. Ellen was a member of the Albert Mines Baptist Church and her faith saw her through all life's challenges. She served as the treasurer for the Hillsborough Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #32. Ellen was a very talented Artist and drew many pictures for her family to treasure. She enjoyed many adventures with Craig, her children and grandchildren, and many of her friends. She became a travel buff and found happiness in organizing, researching, and exploring new places. Ellen's greatest gift was her family. Although she wasn't the type to show affection, she was there for them without hesitation and with much love. Ellen was grateful to have Craig, her children, and grandchildren as her support system. They brought joy to her life everyday and allowed her to live her life to the fullest until the end. She was so happy to see her son, Ryan and daughter-in-law Jade, be married on January 9th, 2021, it meant everything to her. "The love in our family flows strong and deep, leaving us memories to cherish and keep."

She will be deeply missed by her mother, Joan (Steeves) Douthwright of Albert Mines; her loving husband and best friend, Craig Beal of Shenstone; her cherished children, Khristine Tinch (Mike) of The Glades, Jennifer Steeves (Annie) of Moncton, Ryan Steeves (Jade) of Shenstone, and Jacob Beal of Ottawa; her treasured grandchildren, Chance, Blaze, Scott, Madeline, William, and Nicholas; sisters, Joy Snelgrove (Donnie) of Edgett's Landing, Shelley Douthwright of Albert Mines; brother, Terry Douthwright (Cathy) of Albert Mines. She will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, by all her extended family and many good friends.

Ellen is now reunited with her father, Austin Douthwright, her first husband, Scott Steeves, and her sister, Cindy Simpson.
