Robert Roderick Bogle
1952-2015
Robert R. Bogle, 62, of Riverside-Albert, sadly
passed away as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Beaverbrook on
Saturday, June 27th, 2015.
Robert was
born in Musquodoboit, NS on December 18th, 1952 the son of the late
Roderick Bogle and Ferne (Elderkin) LeBlanc of PEI. Robert was a great
guy who was willing to help anyone who needed a hand. He worked for
Ed's Welding for a few years but his main passion and talent was
working on vehicles. He took great pride and was meticulous in his
work of painting cars, bikes or whatever vehicle you needed patched
up. Robert was an Albert County Boy and really enjoyed hanging out
with his friends and family. His house was always open to young and
old alike, if you needed a coffee, to have a talk, stay for a few days
or just come in and have a laugh or two. He was a Harley Davidson
enthusiast and always took pristine care of all his Harleys over the
years, they were his pride and joy. He traveled all over the Maritimes
and US with his fellow biker friends. He also enjoyed snowmobiling,
spending time at the Fundy Curling Club and attending many dances over
the years as he loved to dance. He also had a special place in his
heart for animals and his best friend and canine companion, Skipper.
Robert loved to laugh and have a good time, he will definitely be
remembered for his kindness to others and for his charming ways. That
little grin and look in his eyes told it all. "Ride Free My
Friend"
He will be sadly missed
by his mother, Ferne LeBlanc (Eric) of PEI; brother, Gregory Bogle of
Oshawa, ON; half-sister, Margaret Danahy of Riverside-Albert; several
aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be missed by all his extended
family and many friends.
He will be
resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday
from 6-9 pm. The Funeral service will be held at the Albert County
Funeral Home on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at 2:00pm with Rev. Carol
Mullin officiating. Internment will be in the Hopewell
Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB. Following the service the
family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Fundy Curling
Club for further sharing of memories and for refreshments.
Donations in Robert's memory to the
Riverside-Albert Volunteer Fire Department or to the charity of the
donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
