Herman Leo Morrisey
1925-2014
Herman Leo Morrisey, 88, of Hopewell Hill passed away
peacefully on September 7th, 2014 at the Moncton
Hospital.
Herman was born in Hopewell Hill on December 26, 1925
the son of the late Hugh and Ella (Tucker) Morrisey. Herman was a hard
worker all his life and last worked for Department of Transportation
for 20 years before his retirement. Herman loved to laugh and enjoyed
his family. He cherished time spent with his beloved wife, June and
they definitely were made for each other. His pride and joy were his
grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to see them come and
his face would light up when they came to visit. Herman loved taking
June for drives and they loved travelling together along the country
roads. " His gentle smile and generous heart will live with us
forever."
He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted
wife, June (Smith) Morrisey; grandchildren, Rikki Keirstead (Jeff) and
Wally Morrisey (Tammie) both of Riverside-Albert; his treasured great
grandchildren, Mackenzie, Wyatt, Grayson and
Marshall. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate
family.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his beloved
children, Rhonda, Marshall and Hugh; brothers, Norman, George, Joseph,
Wilfred, John, Edward and Jim; sisters, Annie, Mary, Elizabeth, Agnes,
Millie and Frances.
A Private family graveside service will be held at the
Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB.
Donations in Herman's memory to the charity of the
donor's choice would be greatly
appreciated.
