Reginald William Wilson
Reginald William Wilson, 89, of Hillsborough passed away on September 11th, 2012 at the Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home.
Reg was born in Demoiselle Creek on July 26, 1923 the son of the late Bliss and Bernice (Simmons) Wilson. He worked as a foreman at the Canadian Gypsum Mill until his retirement. He was a faithful member of the Valley Baptist Church, always helping out when asked. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing and just being in the outdoors. He was a true inspiration to all those around him and was known for his kind and gentle spirit.  He will also be remembered for his great smile.  He will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
He will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Katie (Fenton) Wilson; children, Gene Wilson of Riverview; Phyllis Steeves (Brian) of Weldon, Dale (Elizabeth) of Fredericton; daughter-in-law, Patricia Wilson of Riverview; treasured grandchildren, Matthew (Vanaissa), Corey, James, Thomas, Jenny and Samuel; precious great grandchildren, Molly and Jack; sisters, Mary Jessiman of Riverview and Charlotte Young of Ontario; brothers, Harold Wilson (Eileen) of Curryville; sister-in-law, Ruby Wilson of New York. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and by all of Katie's relatives - The Fenton Family.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sons, Donald and Terry; sisters, Ellen Wilson Gertrude Rose, Helen Wilson; brothers, Carl Wilson and Carmen Wilson.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Valley Baptist Church on Thursday, September 13th, 2012 at 2:00pm with Rev. Bruce Alcorn officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further fellowship and for refreshments at the Family Life Center in the church. Interment will be held in the Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, NB.
