Marjorie Adelaide Cook
Marjorie Adelaide Cook, 94, of Lincoln, NB and formerly of Alma and Saint John passed away on March 18th, 2019 at the Oromocto Special Care Home. 
 
She was born in Hebron, Albert Co, NB on October 7th, 1924 the daughter of the late Leslie and Leona (Marks) Hoar.  
 
Marjorie was a housewife and mother, her family was her priority.  She was known for her sewing ability and was an exceptional seamstress.  She enjoyed making quilts and knitting in her spare time.  She was a member of the Alma Baptist Church.  She and her husband, Wesley, enjoyed their house in Alma and had made many fond memories over the years with all their neighbours and friends in the area.  They also loved travelling and camping, going all over Canada seeing the country as well as trips to Bermuda and England/Scotland.  She felt blessed to have her daughter, Lorraine,  take such good care of her over the past few years.  Marjorie will be remembered for her great laugh and hospitality.  Her kindness will never be forgotten and she will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
 
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lorraine Thomas (John) of Lincoln; her grandsons, Mark (Therese) of Alberta and Matthew of Fredericton; sister,  Elsie Frizzell (Grant) of Moncton.  She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and by all her extended family and friends.
 
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wesley; sisters, Madeline Stinson, Ferne McCurdy(Granville) and Ella Calvert (Bill).
 
 
The funeral service and Celebration of her life will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 at 1:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. A time of visitation will take place an hour prior to the service.  The family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and for refreshments following the service in the funeral home reception area. Interment will be in the Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB.
 
Donations to the Bennett & Albert County Health Care Foundation or memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
