Patricia Mary Colpitts

1940-2019

Patricia Mary Colpitts

Patricia Mary Colpitts, 78, of Weldon passed away on March 5th, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital with her family by her side.

Patricia was born in Riverside on November 14, 1940 the daughter of the late Herbert and Frances (Colpitts) White.

She worked at St. John's United Church in Moncton as the secretary for several years.  Her faith was very important to her and she was a devoted and active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Patricia was also a homemaker and housewife which she loved.  She enjoyed caring for her family and always being there for her boys.   A mother's love is special and her kindness and patience was something they could always count on.  She liked knitting and made afghans for everyone in the family.   She enjoyed camping and cherished many fond memories that were made around the campfire.   Patricia will be remembered for her sweet smile and her generous heart.  She will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever.

She will be deeply missed by her sons, Gary Colpitts (Kim) of Hillsborough, Roger Colpitts of Stoney Creek and David Colpitts (Carolyn) of Ottawa; her treasured grandson, Ryan Colpitts; her precious great-grandsons, Bentley and Rowan; sister, Ruth Chartand (Marcel) of Elgin; brother, William "Bill" White of Hopewell Hill.  She will also be missed by nieces and nephews and by all her church family and friends.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wilfred  (2003); brothers, Herman and H. Allison.

Honouring Patricia's own wishes there will be no visitation.  A Funeral Service and Celebration of her life will be held at The Seventh Day Adventist Church, 161 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB on Friday, March 8th, 2019 at 2:00pm with Mr. Barry Hubley officiating.  Interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB at a later date.
