F. Craig Spiece

1966-2019

F. Craig Spiece

F. Craig Spiece, 52, of Riverview passed away peacefully on February 22nd, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital with his special niece, Julie, holding his hand.

Craig was born on May 20th, 1966 the son of the late Lorne Spiece and Mabel (Clark) Spiece of Riverview.

Craig graduated from Caledonia Regional High, then went to school in Toronto, and worked several places after that including, Speedy Auto and Canadian Tire, he was a hard worker.  Then he went out and started his own business,  West Main Service Center and also operated several Air Cabs in the Moncton area.  He worked day and night but thoroughly enjoyed it.  He was a member of the Eastern Star Fidelity #36 and the Coverdale Masonic Lodge.   He had a passion for cars and really enjoyed sports cars and his favourite being his '92 Thunderbird that he was proud to have.  Craig loved his dogs and they were like his babies.  He will be remembered for his sparkling eyes, dimples and contagious smile.   His family was very important to him and his mother was his greatest supporter and always there for him.   He lived life to the fullest and his message was clear, Life is short, live your dream and wear your passion.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Mabel Spiece of Riverview; sisters, Juanita Spiece-Irving (Jeff) of Riverview and Nancy Spiece- MacKenzie of Moncton; his nieces, Julie, Sophie, Maggie and nephew, Aaron.  He will also be missed by many good friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Lorne Frederick Spiece in 1982.

He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday afternoon from 2-5pm.  The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Monday, February 25th, 2019 at 2:00pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and for refreshments at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Grey's Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, NB in the spring.
