1917-2018

Elisabeth "Lisa" O'Kill

Elizabeth O’Kill, of Spencer Home in Moncton, passed away peacefully on October 30th, 2018 at the age of 101.

Elizabeth was born on September 16th, 1917, in Chatham, Ontario, the daughter of the late Alida and Theophile Pieters. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her 9 siblings and her little girl, Victoria, who passed away at the age of 4.

Elizabeth (AKA Libby in Ontario), had a successful 26 year career with Sears Canada, in Chatham and Leamington, Ontario, where she became their first female Store Manager, prior to retiring in 1982.  Lisa was an active volunteer with CNIB in Moncton and Riverview.

Lisa had a very full and happy life. As well as having a great career and bringing up two boys, she also outlived 5 husbands. A lot of life happens in 100 years…
