Conrad Harold Wilson

1932-2018

Conrad Harold Wilson
Conrad Harold Wilson, 86, of Hillsborough went to be with his Lord and Saviour on September 17th, 2018.  He passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital with his family by his side.

Conrad was born in Hillsborough on July 29th, 1932 the son of the late Harry and Jessie (Steeves) Wilson.

In his earlier years he worked at T.E. Eaton & Company and for the Sumner Company.  He last worked at Eastern Fence and retired after 31 years of devoted service. He was a faithful member of the Hillsborough Baptist Church and was an usher for many years.  Conrad enjoyed airplanes and he and his boys never missed an airshow and travelled all over the Maritimes to see them.  He enjoyed trains and would go to all the model train shows.  He enjoyed building bird houses, playing and watching hockey, hunting and fishing.  He was definitely a family man and he and his wife of 59 years, Susie raised their family with love.  He was very proud of his boys and all their accomplishments and of his treasured grandchildren who he enjoyed talking and skyping with as they were not in the area and his precious  great grandchildren.  His family was his life and were his pride and joy and all you had to do was walk in his home and see all the pictures on display.  He has now gone to earn his Heavenly rewards.  Hearing the words, "Well done my good and faithful servant."

John 14:2 "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Susie (Elliott) Wilson; his three sons, Conrad Wilson of Greenwood, NS, Steve Wilson of Portapique, NS and Andrew Wilson (Melody) of Dieppe; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Megan, Jackson, Trent, Ashley, and Corey and his  great grandchildren, Isla and Aurora; sisters, Phyllis Fowler of Moncton, Dorothy Nelson (Merrill) of Sussex and Bonnie Grandie (Joe) of Mississauga, ON; brother, Charlie Wilson (Grace) of Hillsborough; sister-in-law, Janet Wilson of Hillsborough.
