Herbert J. Sobeck
1938-2018
Herbert J. Sobeck of Moncton and formerly of Hillsborough passed away peacefully on August 13th, 2018 at the Dr. Georges L-Dumont Hospital.
He was born in Germany on July 2, 1938 the son of the late
Josef and Magdalena (Neumayer) Sobeck.
He worked as a gunsmith. Herb was a
member of
the Buckskinners Muzzleloading Association
and greatly enjoyed the comradary and friendship of
the club members. As well as an avid outdoorsman and
craftsman.
He will be deeply missed by his son, Kim Sobeck (Mary Lou) of Riverview and his treasured grandchildren, Alec and Hailey.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Sheila
(Hope) Sobeck and daughter-in-law, Leanne
(Hawkes) Sobeck; brothers, Karl and Franz
Honoring Herb's own wishes there will be no visitation or
funeral service.
