Christopher Stephen Mark Dunfield
1964-2017
Christopher Stephen Mark Dunfield, 53, of Hillsborough passed away suddenly on October 27, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.
Chris was born in Moncton on April 25th,
1964 the son of Vaughn and Shirley
(Dykeman) Dunfield.
Chris worked with Kinetic Interactive as a web
developer. He enjoyed working in the technology
field. Chris loved being outdoors in nature and hiking
the Dobson Trail was one of his favourite
pastimes. He also enjoyed gardening and
travelling. He was training to do a marathon and was up to
running 25-30km. He was also very artistic and enjoyed
painting and doing photography. Chris also loved
animals and had a special bond with his cat. Chris took
pleasure in the simple things in life. He will be remembered
for his quiet manner and his gentle smile. "What we keep in
memory is ours forever."
He will be deeply missed by his parents, Vaughn and Shirley
Dunfield of Fredericton; his wife and best friend,
Monique Gaudet of Hillsborough; daughter,
Katie Ann Dunfield of Hopewell Cape; step son,
Curtis Blackmore of Hillsborough; brothers,
Paul Dunfield (Sarah) of Ottawa, ON and
Gary Dunfield (Shelley) of Kentville,
NS. He will also be missed by the mother of his daughter,
Wendy Johnston of Hopewell Cape; several nieces and nephews; and all
of Monique's family and his extended family.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ora and
Bertha Dunfield; maternal grandparents, Lois
and Hillis Dykeman.
The Funeral Service and Celebration of his life will be
held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 31st, 2017
at 2:00pm with a time of visitation from 1:00 till 2:00 an hour prior
to the service.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to
the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly
appreciated.
