David Glen Hanson, 70, of Riverview and formerly of Hillsborough passed away peacefully on October 14th, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.

David was born in Surrey, Albert County on July 10, 1947 the son of the late Lloyd Hanson and Muriel (Henwood) of Hillsborough.  He was an active member of the Hillsborough Baptist Church, he served as an usher and teller and was always willing to lend a helping hand.   David was a hard worker, he worked  at the Gypsum Company, CNR for 20 years then went to work with T.P. Downey & Sons until he retired.  After his retirement he worked at Hopewell Rocks and for A&C Meats along with numerous other jobs, he liked to keep busy.   He enjoyed reading and going for walks in the country.  David also enjoyed doing word puzzles and spent many hours doing jigsaw puzzles. He had a great sense of humour and quick wit. He will be remembered for his grin and laugh, especially when he was teasing.  He has gone through some struggles over the past few years but did so with determination and a good outlook as he travelled on his journey.
