Jean ( Milburn) Munson
1925-2016
Jean Munson, 90, of McNair Manor, Moncton passed away
peacefully on July 22, 2016.
Jean was born in Mountville, Albert County, NB on August
30, 1925 the daughter of the late Charlie and Viola (Downey)
Milburn. Jean was faithful member of the Moncton Wesleyan
Church when she was able to attend and was an active member of the
Senior's Group. She was a very caring, loving lady who had a
very gentle way about her. She was always willing to help in
any situation. Jean loved family gatherings and really looked forward
to all her sisters coming on their annual visits from
Ontario. Her family felt blessed to have such a devoted and
loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. They
will forever cherish the many pieces of her exceptional handiwork in
her exquisite knit items, her intricate crochet work and her beautiful
quilts. Her sweet smile and generous heart will live with us
forever.
She will be deeply missed by her treasured
children, Gordon Munson (Elizabeth) of Beaverton,
ON, Sharron Steeves (Gary) of
Riverview, Donna Shevchuk of Whitby, ON, Carol Heaslip (Jim) of
Moncton, Heather Wright (Dexter) of Riverview; her precious 10
grandchildren, Debra (Darren), Kimberley, Steven (Mandy), Matthew,
Sarah, Robert, Jenna (Jesse), T.J., Brandon (Melanie) and Natasha;
great grandchildren, Andrew, Samuel, Ava, Ally and Silas; her seven
sisters, Beryl Graham of ON, Norma West (Jim) of Hopewell Hill,
Shirley Perry of ON, Phyllis Robertson of ON, Thelma Graham (Clayton)
of ON, Marilyn Keefer (Murray) of ON and Margaret Hart of
ON. She will also be missed by many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved
husband, Garfield Munson; brothers, Gurney, Dale and
Russell.
She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with
visitation on Monday evening from 6-9 pm. The funeral
service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Tuesday,
July 26, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in
the Waterside Cemetery, Waterside, NB.
