Arnold Lloyd Garland
1931-2016
Arnold Lloyd Garland, 84,
of Hebron passed away peacefully on February 5th,
2016 at the Moncton Hospital. Not wanting
his wife out on the roads in the storm he knew he was in her thoughts
and prayers on the night of his passing.
Arnold was born in Bridgedale, NB the son of the
late Fred and Alma (Bennett) Garland. He was a member of the
United Church of Canada and worked as a truck driver before retiring.
He was a member of the Hillsborough Royal Canadian
Legion, Branch # 32. Arnold had a very artistic side and
was very talented. He enjoyed painting and he had many of
his works collected, he took great pride in showing others.
He enjoyed the time spent in his studio. He had a love of animals and
especially his two little dogs, Princes and
Laddie. His smile and great spirit will live on in
all the memories shared. "What we keep in memory is
ours forever."
Thanks for being a great husband and my best friend for 50
years, this year. Until we meet again.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Jacqueline Garland;
sister, June Hughes (Tom) of Niagara Falls, ON; his special nieces and
nephews, Barbara, Ronnie, David, Sean and Sharon. He will
also be missed by many good friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a half-sister,
Doreen.
